A Life Of Color

Searching for color and meaning in this grey world
not in the sense of meeting the perfect girl but,
to see the gleam as the sun's light reflects off shining pearls
and the deepest blue as the waves of the ocean crash against
the rocks

The smell of freshwater invigorates me to the point my heart will stop
as I'm breathing in the essence of life through nature
finally finding my way after all this time of being lost
becoming one with the maker

Searching for color and meaning in a grey world
the world of politically correct speech and non-offense language
one would think everyone graduated from Yale or Cambridge
the way people present themselves with so much prestige where
right beneath the surface hides all their pain and anguish

freedom of expression is dying and we're trying to breath life into it
but what's life without freedom? As freedom allows us to breath
creativity into it.

Searching for color and meaning in a grey world
a world of melancholy and misery
a world where no one sees visually
a world where one has to wonder. . .

if I were gone, would anyone miss me?
