Looking out at the world with wonder
contemplating the state of existence and
the nature of reality; staring out into the 
night hoping that the morning will never come
as I prefer the sunset to a sunrise; our most
beautiful thoughts tend to come out with the 
moon, our most abstract ideas take form in the
shadows, waiting until the attention of the waking
world diminishes so that they can reveal their potentially
magnificent heads; our dreams only occur in darkness
so that we may bring light to the world along with the morning
sun and little footsteps sound behind me and a presence grabs 
my leg; I look down and it it up and stare at the stars with my son
awaiting the morning sun.
