When the sun is out I refuse to take flight
I wait in the shadows until it is night
that is where my vision is the best and my 
senses are attuned, this is not a statement of
doom and gloom and if you don't believe me
look at the nocturnal flowers that bloom
besides, the moon provides light, I think
it's that of the sun, but the weather is cooler
and the battles of the day are fought and won
I like the night as there is no heat and all the 
competition is fast asleep.
