Time tends to stop when I witness nature
pausing from the everlasting chase toward the paper
blocking out the noise of the haters
seeing something real for a change instead of being
surrounded by fakers

Time tends to stop when I meditate
connecting with my spirit so I self-educate
curing my restlessness so I self-medicate
bringing positive vibes everywhere so I perpetuate

Time tends to stop on the ride home from work
no more bonehead to argue with or try to make things work
going to the crib for the night to consume herbs
as eating healthy is why everything in my life works
