You get one life to live and you live it every day. You only get one of these and every day you live you will only see once and never see again. Every moment you could’ve used to be productive, every moment you could’ve used to do something you wanted to do, every moment you could’ve used to obtain wisdom, understanding, and knowledge you only get once and will never get again.
Let that sink in for a moment. . .
A moment you will never get again but will be well spent.
You have a sufficient amount time to live and make the best of your circumstances but you waste most of it. Watching youtube, Netflix, Anime and the like. I understand, you have a job and family and friends but is that the peak of your life? Is that what you really want to do? Is that what you want to accomplish?
If so, that’s fine. Nothing wrong with being mediocre.
I’m serious. Nothing wrong with being mediocre because everyone is not meant to be extraordinary. Not everyone is meant to change the world and accomplish great things. Not everyone is meant to be the one percent.
However, everyone can accomplish what THEY want to accomplish in life, even on a small scale. You don’t have to be Jeff Bezos or Steve Jobs or Bill Gates to be accomplished in life. All you have to do is figure yourself out and what you want and focus on nothing but that until you get it. However, it has to be what you actually want, not what someone else told you to want.
Most people waste their lives trying to please others who failed in their lives and want to impose those failures on you as a second attempt to live the life they were afraid to live out for themselves. Now, if you don’t want this to be you, you must evaluate your life at this moment and ask yourself is this the life you want to be living. If you were to die tomorrow and you knew the exact moment death was coming to your door, would you be happy with what you have been doing so far?
I know I wouldn’t.
In fact, I would be pissed.
Not only because I haven’t lived out a quarter century yet, but, I haven’t accomplished nearly a percent of hat I have planned. Now, I don’t have anything immaculate or extravagant planned, but it is big enough for me to chase it and pursue it to the ends of the earth.
And that’s the point of life.
Do not spend another day wasting your life away.
Do not spend another day on autopilot.
Do not spend another day mindlessly going through the motions with no concept of control or purpose or meaning.
Create your own meaning for your own life and take your life and power back.
Alright, that’s my spiel. Til next week!
