Ode to Darkness, Ode to Time

Are all things that lack light truly evil
Battle of light and dark
Both sides incurring loss
Darkness is viewed as evil
Only for its lack of light
Though many creatures use light to see, the world is far more.
darkness and Light intertwine, the everlasting concept of time.
A savior is always decorated in white
A villain in black
A point is to be made
Those who fear the darkness
Never fear the entity itself
They only fear the fact
That darkness takes away vision
Time attains everlasting, changing flow
Unpredictable tides play out fate and destiny
Darkness represents
The inevitability of death
Something people come to fear
The truth is never pretty
Nor should it be
Silver tongues paint life as sacred
Death makes the final decision
Time moves at its own pace
Determines where one goes
Darkness ensures cold and peaceful
Are all things void of light truly evil?
Does lack of false vision spell the end?
Does cold and peaceful slumber sound so bad?
The loss of falsehood and lies…to gain truth.
